Buckshot Roulette is a survival strategy game inspired by Russian roulette. However, instead of using a traditional pistol, players will use a 12-barreled shotgun. With tense gameplay, unique betting mechanics, and a diverse support item system, the game promises to bring a dramatic experience.

Origin

Mike Klubnika, an independent creator known for his bizarre and haunting projects, developed Buckshot Roulette. First released on itch.io in December 2023, the game quickly attracted the attention of the gaming community thanks to its unique gameplay, tense atmosphere, and high strategy.

BASIC RULES

In essence, Buckshot Roulette is similar to Russian roulette but played with a shotgun. This gun contains a random number of bullets, some of which are fake. A real bullet can be fired and do the same damage as a loaded chamber in Russian roulette. A fake bullet, on the other hand, will never be fired, similar to an empty chamber in Russian roulette.

Each session lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, enough to create an exciting match but not too long. One player is chosen to be the dealer in each session. They hold the gun and the bullets. The remaining players play the role of chance players. The rounds are played in a betting format, where you can choose to “drop” to determine who will be targeted next. Survival requires luck, reading your opponents, managing risk, and timing your attack.

• Hand Saw prevents the gun from doing double damage. You should use this item when you are sure that the bullet in the pistol barrel is a real one.
• Cigarette Pack gives you an extra shot to reload. You should use this item after being shot to heal.
• Magnifying Glass allows you to preview 6 bullets in the barrel.
• Mobile phones bring mysterious information about the future.
