THE MYSTERY OF LAKEWITCH

Horror Tale is a first-person horror adventure game set in rural America in the 1990s. Assume the role of Tom, a young boy who unintentionally becomes entangled in the enigmatic case of missing children in Lakewitch. Tom meets a friend named Harry. They decide to plan how to protect other children from a terrifying kidnapper. Before leaving home, his mother leaves a note telling him to go collect eggs from the chicken coop. On his bike ride to the chicken coop, he unexpectedly encounters the notorious kidnapper, triggering a tense series of events. From here, you and Harry must quickly reinforce your treehouse to turn it into a safe haven while trying to solve the puzzle surrounding the kidnapper's identity and motives.

GAMEPLAY – PUZZLES, STEALTH, AND SURVIVAL

• Collect items: find items such as nails, hammers, ropes, or binoculars to reinforce your treehouse.
• Escape the kidnapper: He can appear unexpectedly anywhere in the darkness. You can hide under tables or behind crates, or you can make noise to distract him.
• Decode the puzzle: Combine items to create new tools to unlock locked areas.
• Build a defense system: After collecting enough items, you and Harry can install simple defenses such as empty can alarms, surveillance cameras, or reinforced windows with wood.

Horror Tale features classic jumpscares, sudden screams, and a chilling atmosphere but maintains a moderate level of violence (PEGI 12). Can Tom and Harry survive the night and solve the puzzles surrounding the missing children?
