Backrooms: 5 Nights is a FNAF-style survival horror game that casts you as a night shift security guard in the backstage area. It is an eerily silent space; pale yellow lights cast upon the stained, mottled walls create a truly gloomy atmosphere. Your mission is to monitor the various rooms via a CCTV camera system displayed on your tablet. If you detect any entities attempting to intrude, use light to repel them.
SURVIVE THE LIMINAL NIGHTMARE
At all costs, you must hold out from midnight until 6:00 AM, the time when the backstage becomes most perilous. The entities lurking within this building will stop doing nothing to reach you. Your tablet is your only useful tool. Accessing cameras, opening doors, or turning on lights all consume power. When your battery runs dry, you will have no means of self-defense.
To survive, you must constantly monitor the cameras to detect any unusual movement. When you spot signs of an intruder, remain calm, wait for the precise moment, and trigger the flash to drive them away.
