Shift at Midnight is an online horror game for up to three players, developed by Bun Muen. In this game, you and your teammates take on the roles of night-shift employees at a remote gas station. Be wary of any customers who stop by, as some of them are not truly human.
GAMEPLAY
Shift at Midnight is set in the 1990s within a secluded rural area. Players assume the role of an overnight gas station attendant. Your mission is to identify the dangerous doppelgängers who are impersonating humans. You are permitted to ask a maximum of five questions and verify the customers' identification documents. If nothing appears suspicious, simply serve the customer as you normally would.
Player objectives
- Verify customer information: players have the right to ask up to five questions of each visitor. Check their ID, cross-reference their details against the computer system, and observe their body language. Subtle clues can help you detect a doppelgänger.
- Confronting doppelgängers: if you unfortunately allow a doppelgänger to enter the premises, immediately barricade the doors, set traps, and then find a safe place to hide.
